I am primarily a food/health blogger at Hunter’s Lyonesse. Since going gluten-free, I have been on a quest. Well, several. Stay healthy. Make great food that is just as awesome as food that I can’t have anymore. Create a grain-free and allergy friendly cake. Experiment in the kitchen with the ideas in my head as much as possible. Make a great bowl of saimin. That would be ramen for all of you who have never been to Hawai`i or known someone from Hawai`i.
This is my most recent attempt. Last week. I did pretty well with the broth, but it’s still not perfect. Finding the right gluten-free noodle is more where my challenge lies to have the dream of the perfect gluten-free saimin. All the noodles I’ve tried so far seem to leech flavor out of the broth.
One day, I will have it!
