Project 52 Challenge: Hunger

23 Mar

I was trying to figure out what picture i could take for this week’s Hunger challenge.  I thought about all kinds of food porn I’ve taken this week, because that’s what I normally shoot.  Food.  Last night I was reading and waiting for Chaz to get home from work so we could eat.  I never know when he’s going to be home.  Either dinner is ready or it isn’t when he gets home.  Lately, it’s been ready because he’s been getting home later than I normally  expect him.  And no, he doesn’t always call or text to tell me he’s going to be late.  And I’m not one of those people who feel the need to call or text saying, “Where ARE you?”  Well, only if he was a couple of hours late.  He’s a programmer and sometimes he doesn’t even look at the clock and loses track of time.  So, I took this while waiting for him to walk through the door last night.  Dinner was ready and i was HUNGRY!

Having that time to sit and share a meal together at home without any distractions. 😀

Gosh I know that feeling of getting lost in work, and not making it home for dinner. Eating together, brings such joy.

Beautiful picture, and I understand what you’re talking about. My husband is also a programmer and I never know what time he’ll be done with work and ready for dinner. He works from home though, and you’d think I could just pop my head in his office and ask him, but his “almost finished” easily turns into another 90 minutes of coding.
